Paper Films partnership
Films of your school.
Made properly.
Not a stock-footage montage. Not a fly-through of empty corridors. A real piece of work, shot on site by Paper Films, edited to live on the homepage and travel through your social channels.
A partnership
Two teams.
One shape of work.
Kickstone Showcase builds the website. Paper Films makes the film that lives inside it. Both teams know schools, safeguarding, and what a good day at a primary actually looks like.
Packages
Three shapes.
One process.
Pick the one that fits the moment your school is in. The lightest is a half-day atmospheric shoot. The largest is a multi-day production with pupil voice, drone footage and a full social cut suite.
Entry · £850
Half-day atmospheric shoot. One flagship film, 120 to 180 seconds, edited to music. Short clips and a curated stills library for web and print.
Basic · £1,550
Full-day shoot. Two staff and three pupil interviews edited as short films. Aerial drone footage by a CAA-qualified pilot. Three to five social cuts for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Full · POA
Multi-day premium production. Pupil-voice hero film for open days. School-logo animation, ten subject-specific social cuts, extended stills library. Pricing depends on school size, distance and scope.
How filming works
What the day
actually looks like.
The Paper Films crew arrive at 08:15. They sign in at reception, set up, and run a 10-minute safeguarding briefing with your DSL before any filming starts. No camera comes out before that conversation.
The shoot itself is fly-on-wall. Teachers run normal lessons. Children behave as they always do once they've forgotten the camera is there (which happens within about ten minutes). The crew rotates through classrooms, communal spaces, the playground. On Basic and Full days there are interviews scheduled in a quiet room and aerial footage outside.
Crew leave by mid-afternoon on a half-day Entry shoot, end of school day on Basic, and across multiple days on Full. The school gets a working schedule confirmed the week before, with full visibility of what's happening when.
From the school
Three things
we need from you.
Booked schools receive a full prep pack with the operational detail. This is the short version, in case you want to know what's involved before you book.
Parental consent
On file for any child who may appear on camera, updated within the last twelve months. Non-consenting pupils stay on a school-held list, never shared with crew.
Named DSL for the day
With a mobile number and time for the 10-minute safeguarding briefing before filming begins. Filming cannot start without it.
Distinctiveness brief
Three written answers, sent a week ahead, telling the crew what makes your school worth filming. What do parents always comment on? What would surprise a stranger?
Delivery
First cut in three weeks.
Final in five.
One round of revisions included as standard. Second round at additional cost.
The school owns unlimited rights to re-use any delivered clip on its own website, social channels, prospectus and parent communications.
Raw footage retained by Paper Films for twelve months, then deleted. Available on request, subject to safeguarding review.
How we keep it safe
