School websites

Built like they
matter.

Because they do. To the parents reading them at midnight.
To the teachers who have to update them.
To the children who see their school through them.

Recent work

Two schools. Two worlds.

Every school we work with gets something built from scratch. No templates, no shared palettes, no cut-and-paste layouts. These concept builds show the system in action.

Concept build

Bramblewood Primary

Rural Somerset · 210 pupils · Forest School

A village school built from honey-coloured stone, with a woodland learning area and an Eco Schools Green Flag. The site needed to feel as warm and rooted as the school itself - slate roofs, autumn light, wellies by the door.

Concept build

Harbour View Primary Academy

Urban Newcastle · 420 pupils · STEM & Computing

A two-form entry academy on an improvement journey, with a brand-new STEM lab and partnerships with Sage and Accenture. The site needed to signal ambition - clean lines, confident colour, a school going somewhere.

These are concept builds - fully functional demonstration sites showing the platform and design system. Real school partnerships are in progress.

The problem

Most school websites were built
to tick a box.

Outdated templates. Broken mobile layouts. Compliance gaps nobody's checking. Parents can't find the term dates. Teachers dread updating them. Ofsted notices.

What schools have

  • Template sites that all look the same
  • Pages that haven't been updated since 2019
  • Mobile layouts that break on every phone
  • Missing statutory information (and nobody flagging it)
  • Hero images of empty playgrounds

What we build

  • Designed from scratch around the school's identity
  • Content managed by staff who aren't web designers
  • Mobile-first - tested on the phones parents actually use
  • 70+ statutory compliance rules checked and met
  • Photography and film that shows the real school

How we work

We start by
listening.

01

We learn your school.

A video call, your prospectus, a walk around your site on Google Street View, your last Ofsted report, the photos you're proud of. We dig into what makes your school yours - before we touch a single pixel. The site we build has to feel like you, not a template with your logo dropped in.

02

We design around you.

No templates. We design the site around what makes your school yours - your colours, your building, your ethos. Bramblewood got autumn light and stone walls. Harbour View got clean lines and a STEM lab hero.

03

We handle compliance.

70+ statutory requirements from the DfE. Safeguarding policies, SEND information reports, pupil premium strategies, financial transparency, admissions - all present, all findable, all monitored. This isn't optional. It's why most school websites fail inspection.

04

We film your school.

Every website includes a short professional film. Not a drone flyover of an empty building - a real portrait of the school in action. Children learning. Teachers teaching. The life that parents want to see.

05

You keep control.

The CMS is built for school office staff, not web developers. Update news, add photos, change term dates - without calling us, without breaking anything. When you need us, we're there.

Partnership

A film of your school.

Not stock footage. Not a slideshow set to music. A proper short film - shot in your school, showing your people, telling your story. Parents watch it at midnight on their phones. It needs to be worth watching. Available for every school we build for, from £850, through our partnership with Paper Films.

Compliance

70+ statutory requirements.
Every one met.

The DfE publishes a long list of things every school website must include. Most schools don't know the list exists. Most web agencies don't either. We built the compliance check into the platform. Every site we deliver passes - and keeps passing.

Ofsted readiness

Every page inspectors look for, present and findable

SEND information

Local offer, SEN policy, accessibility plan - all published

Safeguarding

Policy, designated lead details, reporting pathways - visible

Financial transparency

Budget shares, pupil premium spend, sports premium - published

Admissions

Arrangements, appeals process, in-year transfers - all clear

Curriculum

By year group, by subject, with progression - not a PDF dump

Pricing

your school.

No sales pitch. No 47-slide deck. Just a conversation about what your school needs and whether we're the right people to build it.
